Adam Lee Stevens aka Alexandra White, 30, of Berrien Springs, MI, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at his residence. Arrangements entrusted to Purely Cremations – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 926-9440. A benefit will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 8:00 PM at Mickey’s Pub, 1007 Main St., St. Joseph, MI. Adam was born on September 12, 1986, in Berrien Center, MI, to Roy Lee Stevens and Millicent (Ackelson) Stevens. After high school and college, he became a professional truck driver seeing much of the United States. On one of his cross-country trips he met Hugh from “Ice Road Truckers”. Adam enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, boating, fishing, and taking flying lessons. Most recently he had been building a dune buggy with his friend Bart. His favorite times were spent with his family.
Adam is survived by his mother, Millicent (Tim) Dodge of Stevensville, MI; father Roy Lee Stevens of Laughlin, NV; brothers Joshua (Jaclyn) Binder of Coloma, MI, and Sean Binder of Stevensville, MI; step-sister Keanu Rogers of Grand Rapids, MI; grandmother Janice Webber of Des Moines, IA; two aunts Catherine Zeis of Eau Claire, MI, and Dorothy Eddings of Benton Harbor, MI; uncle Thomas (Carol) Stevens of Riverdale, GA; two nieces Samarah Binder and Faith Rogers; three nephews Jason Binder, Jerry Binder and Maxwell Binder; numerous cousins; friends and special family member Tanya McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Thomas and Frances Stevens; aunts Shirley Craig and Vicki Stevens; uncle Roy Eddings; and cousin Craig Thar.
