Donna Jean Kelly, 80, of Stevensville, Michigan was born on November 25, 1940 to Willis & Helen Delong in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She married Donald C. Kelly on August 16, 1958. Don and Donna were Married 63 years and were blessed to have 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Donna passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of September 15, and went home to be with her Savior.
Donna graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1958, and was an accomplished artist. Donna loved and cherished her family dearly. Every Sunday, until recently, she opened her home to host a wonderful dinner for family and friends. She had a passion for serving others, including making meals for widows and shut-ins, and volunteering at Birthright. Donna had the ability to make everyone in her life feel like family. Donna loved her Lord and Savior, and studying her Bible.
Donna is survived by her husband Don Kelly; Sister, Joan Phillips; and children: Doug (Barb) Kelly, Sue (Eric) Lachman, Barb (David) Tabbert, Beth Kelly, Nancy (Scott) Schonschack, Matthew (Teresa) Kelly, Mark (Roxanne) Kelly.
A memorial service will be held in November. Those who wish to remember Donna in a special way, may make gifts in her memory to Birthright in St. Joseph, Michigan.
