Joe J. Green, 80, of Coloma, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Joe was born July 14, 1937 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Ludi and Lucille (Mobbs) Green. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War while stationed in Germany. Joe married the love of his life, Barbara Matlock, on June 24, 1959 in Coloma. He farmed and worked as a set-up man for Bosch Braking Systems, LLC retiring after 32 years of service. Joe was a member of the UAW Local 383 Auto Workers and the American Legion Coloma Post 362. He was devoted to his family, enjoyed camping, attending horse shows and barrel racing competitions.
Joe is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Patricia (Jay) Davis of Bridgman, Pamela Green of Coloma, Christine Green of Eau Claire, Mary Green of Benton Harbor, Catherine (Bradin) Perriguey of Coloma; sons, Anthony Green and Codie Green of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Amber Green and Makayla Green-Mckie of Coloma, Breanna Green and Katelyn Green of Eau Claire and David Sillaway of Coloma; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Gallas of Baroda, Aiden Hampton, Jayden Green and Dayton Sillaway of Coloma; and brother, Jack Junior Green of Whiteville, Tennessee.
Joe was preceded by parents, Ludi and Lucille (Mobbs) Green; son, William Green; grandson, Benjamin J. Gallas; sister, Billie (Green) Simpson and brothers, Willie Alfred Green, Earl “Doodle” Green and Sam D. Green.Print Obituary & Condolences
