My beloved and only sister. You left us too soon. You will always be remembered as a loving, family oriented, Christian woman. I wish that we had gotten to spend more time together in the last few years as we had in years past. We never had more fun than our trips to the UP. I will look forward to being with you again.
Laura
She had so many great memories of up north too! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and memories. We will greatly miss her too!

Dear Family of Julie Vair Johnston,
I was saddened to hear that Julie had passed away on June 26th, 2020. I knew Julie as a single woman in New York where we had spent some time together traveling and doing fun things with our friends, especially Virginia Armato Stein. I knew her sister Vivian briefly and her mother. Julie and I kept in touch over the years mainly through Christmas cards and occasional phone conversations. She came to visit me in California when her brother was stationed in San Diego. My fondest memory was our trip to Europe in 1969(?). We spent three weeks touring Denmark, Germany , The Netherlands and Switzerland. Julie was a very sweet person and easy to get along with. I will definitely miss her even though we didn’t communicate that often. My sincerest condolences to all the members of her family at this very difficult time. Grace Cassotto McManus

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Julia’s passing. I truly enjoyed playing canasta at the Senior Services in South Haven with her and enjoying lunch together during break. She always had a smile on her face and was a caring person. I will miss her at the Senior Center. RIP Julia and Blessings to her family.
