Linda Ann (Story) Mancusi, 69, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, MI. Linda was born April 18, 1949 in St. Joseph, MI to Robert and Mary Ann (Wedge) Story. After graduating from Saint John’s High School, she became a licensed Cosmetologist and was a successful Tupperware distributor. She managed several businesses throughout her career: Seifert’s Plus Woman’s Store in the Orchard’s Mall, Cracker Barrel, and Walmart. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, arts & crafts, scrap booking, and going out with her family and friends. On December 31, 1997, Linda married the love of her life, Joseph Mancusi. She was a devoted wife and took great pride in being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Linda poured her heart into her family and raised 4 children with strong Christian values and all the love and optimism she could give. Linda’s family meant everything to her and she treasured the time spent with them. Linda was often heard to say, “Take lots of pictures!”, to remind us all to enjoy life and share our memories as we went along.
Linda is survived by her two sons, Edward (Robin) Yerington and grandchildren Olivia and Stone Yerington of Kansas City, MO; and Michael (Angela) Yerington and grandchildren Christopher Yerington and Samantha (Chad) Owens and great-grandchild, Kai Owens of Davenport, IA; sisters, Karen Knapp, Deb (Keith) Ward, Barb (Jim) Johnson, Susan (Greg) Weiser, Brenda (Larry) Regan, Cindy (Dale) Lexow, Cheryl (John) Lester, and Kathy (Joe) Faisant; brothers, Richard Story, James (Vera) Story and Bob (Tess) Story and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded by her parents; husband, Joseph; daughter, Hope Yerington and son Dennis Yerington, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Linda’s life at her sister Sue’s home in St. Joseph on Saturday, July 20 at 4pm.
