
Mary Lee (McElrath) Davis, 75, passed away on December 7, 2017, in Watervliet, Michigan. Mary was born in Grubbs, Arkansas to Raymond Elwood and Mary Opal McElrath, on November 2, 1942. Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, two sisters, Peggy and Shirley, a son-in-law, Timothy Stockman, and by her son Jeffery. A private grave side service will be held at a later time in Shanghai Memorial Cemetary, Eau Claire, Michigan, where she will be laid to rest with her son, Jeffery.
Mary is survived by two daughters; Rebecca (Timothy) Stockman, Greenville, MI and Renae (Bruce) Wyant, Coloma, MI. Two brothers; Carl (Diane) McElrath, Davison, MI, and Ronald (Becky) McElrath, Concord, NC. Grandchildren: Sharon, John Mark, Beth, Justin, Derek, and David. Four Great Grand daughters; Abigail, Naomi, Melody, and Deborah. Three nieces; Jessica, Sarah, and Ashley. Mary was looking forward to the birth of her first Great Grand Son Ian, due in January 2018.
Mary loved to spend time with her family, doing puzzles, playing cards, going to church, and playing with her spoiled cats, Bonnie and Clyde. Her favorite food was hamburgers, French fries, and biscuits and gravy.
Mary’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Caring Circle Hospice at Home for all of their help and care. Mary and family truly appreciated their friendship, puzzle skills and playing Skip-Bo.
