He married the love of his life, Joyce Elaine Peters on September 5, 1953 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Together they loved living life in the slow lane. Paul loved playing golf at The Oaks and Blossom Trails for over 25 years. Paul enjoyed scientific gardening, growing 161 rose bushes, fruits and vegetables sharing them with family, neighbors and friends. His wife, Joyce, gave away up to six bouquets of flowers a day for 15 summers. In his spare time, he read mysteries, enjoyed music and cared for his many cats. Paul’s favorite times were spent with his wife and family. He will be remembered dearly as a great friend and a wonderful, kind and gentle man.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joyce; daughter, Kathy (Jeffery) Wilson; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents and son, Michael Richards.
