
Randall “Randy” Keith Penley, passed from this life to the next with his children surrounding him with love on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the age of 59.
Randy was born on October 16, 1962 in Buchanan MI, to Doyle Gene and Joyce (Saylor) Penley. He had a career in Die Cast, working in several die cast companies in the southwest Michigan area.
Randy loved the casinos, gambling and especially the scratch off tickets. He was a lucky winner several times. Randy enjoyed all sports, but the Cubs and University of Michigan were his favorites to follow. Randy was a great athlete in his own right. He played Class D & E Men’s slow pitch soft ball, travelling throughout Michigan with his teams. He knew how to pass his sports knowledge on to others and was a great coach for Phillip’s baseball teams.
Randy is survived by his wife; Karen (Geurian) Penley, son; Phillip (Connie) Penley, daughter; Kelsie Penley, granddaughters; Madeline and Olivia Wilson, nephew; Brad (Emerald) Penley, half-brother; Doyle Gene Dixon, great-nephews and a great-niece. He is preceded in death by his parents; Doyle Gene and Joyce Penley, brothers; Doyle Edward Penley and Rodney Penley, and niece; Elizabeth Penley.
Cremation has taken place through Purely Cremations, in Benton Harbor, MI. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 4-6 pm at New Troy Community Center at 13372 California Rd, New Troy, MI 49119. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist in purchasing a headstone and final expenses.
