Dick was born in San Jose, CA, April 9, 1935, the son of the late Lyle Senter Turnbow and Elizabeth “Betty” (Quigley) Johnson. Dick grew up in Point Loma, CA and later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Science from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years in Colorado Springs, CO. Dick spent many years in the dairy industry traveling across the country selling milk cartons and related items. He loved to travel, always ready for a new adventure. Even in later years he was always on the go. I called him “Gotta go Turnbow”.  In June of 1994, Dick married “the love of his life” (his words) Sharon Irene (Doran). He and Sharon loved living by Lake Michigan sharing 26 wonderful years together. Dick has always been grateful to his longtime friends, Dennis and Linda Doran, for making the introduction.

Dick is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon; twin brother, Robert “Bob” Dean (Carol) Turnbow of Montoursville, PA; daughters Lisa Ruth (Robert) Frost of Woodstock, GA and Sheri Lynn (Carlos) Lastra of Potomac, MD; grandsons, Connor, Spencer, and Nathan Frost of GA and former wife, Ina Jacquelyn “Jackie” (Floyd).

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Karon Ruth (Gordon) Luce and brother, Ronald Senter Turnbow.
