Robert Frederick Baker (Fred)
Robert Frederick Baker (Fred) passed away peacefully in his home on June 3, 2021 at the age of 48.
Fred was born October 11, 1972 in St. Joseph, Michigan. Fred was a jack-of-all trades who would help anyone in need.
Fred met everyone with a smile and was best known for his quick sense of humor. Laughing with every ounce of himself, he made everyone around him laugh. Fred was an avid hunter, though he had very little success. Fred loved a good game of Euchre, the Cubs, and Notre Dame football. When he was not occupied with work, or catching the next Cubs game, you could find him with his five girls teaching them each how to fish at Singer Lake.
A loving father and grandfather, Fred is survived by his five beloved daughters, Courtney Baker (Payten Alford), Hannah Baker, Abby Baker, Katelyn Baker, and Baylie Baker; his granddaughter Paisley Jean Thompson; his mother and father, Billie Jo and Robert Baker, as well as his sister Bobbie Guernsey(Greg, niece Megan Guernsey), and brother Joseph Baker (Sharon, nephews Nolan and Cooper Baker); his Aunt Martha Baker and cousin Shawn Baker (Kerri).
“My father was a good man, a loving man, a protector of all, but mostly an amazing father. He was a family man who always knew the best ways to make someone laugh. The legacy he’s left his family with will last many lifetimes”
The family will hold a private celebration of life.
Condolences can be sent to 2961 W. Glenlord Rd. Stevensville, MI 49127.
