
Stephen Henry Brinks, 78, of Stevensville, MI passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI. He was born June 5, 1940 in South Haven, MI to Steve and Lyle (Weaver) Brinks. After losing his mother at a young age, he and his sister, Clara, were raised by their maternal grandparents in South Haven. Stephen had a life-long career in banking, retiring from management after 35 years of service. On September 7, 1979 he married the love of his life, Kathleen Marie Knapp, in South Haven, MI. He enjoyed golfing and loved raising, training, showing and judging Appaloosa horses both locally and nationally.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, Rodney Brinks of South Haven, MI; granddaughters, Rachel and Natalie Mishke and sister, Clara (David) Schabbel of South Haven, MI. He was preceded by his parents and daughter, Lynn (Brinks) Mischke,
